Our cost-effective process can draw from a variety of organisms including bacteria, yeast, insect or mammalian cells. Prior to beginning production of a new protein synthesis project, we will consult with the client to assess the best production process based on final application.
We have also developed novel approaches for obtaining high protein yields, including production of insoluble protein using specific conjugates, followed by post-production processing and re-folding of the mature protein. All projects begin with small scale (50 mL) exploratory production runs to assess quantity and quality (glycosylated, secreted, etc.).
