Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometry is a powerful tool with which to measure the simultaneous expression of numerous proteins on a single cell. This resource has utility across numerous disciplines, enabling detailed temporal and spatial resolution of cellular behaviors.
We currently use a Sony SH800S cell sorter; Equipped with four collinear lasers [at 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, and 638 nm] and 6 fluorescence detectors, it can provide extensive resolving power to distinguish - and sort - the cellular subsets you need to study.
